The graduate programs in Agricultural Economics at Nebraska give students a solid foundation of economic theory, mathematics and statistics, and applied economics in agriculture, food systems and natural resources. Application Process
Apply on-line through the UNL Office of Graduate Studies website.
In addition to materials specified on the Office of Graduate Studies application site, we require the following supporting materials. They can be sent directly to us (FAX: 402-472-3460; e-mail: agecongrad@unl.edu; mail: Graduate Program Coordinator, Agricultural Economics Department, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 204 Filley Hall, Lincoln, NE 68583-0922):
- Resume
- Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score (recommended for students applying for assistantships)
- Three completed recommendation forms
- Any other material you feel would be useful to us
Deadlines:
- Have your application complete by January 15 for full consideration
- Admission decisions begin in February and can continue as late as June
- Financial award decisions are made on or around March 1
