International Study Opportunities

The University of Nebraska provides outstanding opportunities for international study through the Office of International Affairs and the undergraduate colleges at the University.  For instance, each spring a group of students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources travels to France to learn about and tour the country.  Students spend two weeks in Europe with students from the University of Kentucky and Cornell University and earn credit for the experience, too!

A new international study experience was recently made available to students.  Natural Resources 315, Tropical Ecology, was a week-long study tour in Puerto Rico for twenty students in the college.  This trip and other two- or three-week study tours to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, New Zeland, and Mexico meet students' international focus requirements and give them a true global perspective.

Semester study abroad is another great opportunity, where students spend a semester or more studying at universities in  Europe, Japan, Australia--you name it!

In addition to Study Abroad opportunities, a number of courses in the Department of Agricultural Economics Department enhance students' international perspective.  Read more about them in our Undergraduate Course Description area.
